The Body Deli, has created the VIP gifts for Louis Vuitton’s 2016 Cruise collection show in Palm Springs. This event will be held at the iconic estate of Bob and Delores Hope on May 6, 2015.
Louis Vuitton is hosting 500 of their most important clients, global fashion editors and A-list celebrities who will discover The Body Deli's exclusive products, made with fresh local ingredients, placed in their rooms at the desert’s finest hotels.
The Body Deli creates the world's most innovative, fresh, raw and pure skin care products made in the Coachella Valley. Louis Vuitton's discovery of this unique company has led to the collaboration between the two brands. The fashion house’s desire to show in Palm Springs is inspired by its renowned designer Nicolas Ghesquiere. His muse for the collection is Palm Springs architecture, esthetics and powerful desert landscape.
The Body Deli's Palm Springs Spa collection was a natural fit. This collection embodies the iconic Palm Springs lifestyle. These products are packaged with the chic Palm Springs vibe and made with locally-sourced citrus, dates and botanicals capturing the essence of our desert oasis
Louis Vuitton's discovery of The Body Deli's products was a spontaneous event. The moment of discovery was when corporate representatives from Paris were scouting accommodations and local venues in Palm Springs for their upcoming show. Media Relations Manager Joyce Kiehl of the Greater Palm Springs Conventions & Visitors Bureau made the introduction to The Body Deli's co-founder, David A. Parker.
Mr. Parker met with the Louis Vuitton’s Press and Public Relations Director Edouard Schneider and event executives to review the collections in The Body Deli’s product menu. Louis Vuitton chose their favorite products to gift their special guests. Louis Vuitton then requested special co-branded stationery with their logo that would be a personal touch and complete the presentation in the rooms. The cards reads, “Louis Vuitton welcomes you to discover locally crafted desert luxury by The Body Deli”. The rest is history.
The items selected for this ground breaking West Coast fashion event included the Palm Springs Spa Collection Body Lotion, Scrub and Wash. Also chosen were The Body Deli's Sprouted Mineral Greens Line, made with raw ingredients that include their Living Hair Shampoo, Conditioner, and Nutrient Superfood Body Lotion and Body Wash.
